“Charming and evocative”
We rented this restored old house for three nights and loved it. Conveniences such as modern bathroom, and laundry facilities – but in the old part of town within walking distance of places to eat – churches to see and watching the locals watch the filming of another Montalbano epic!
I particularly loved the roof terrace – clothes dried there within a few hours and we drank wine up there and marvelled at the views. Apart from a few barking dogs, the area was quiet and safe. We slept well and ate all our meals at local places. We bought wine to take ‘home’ but managed to keep fit by walking up to the convent in the hills behind the house.
Francesca was friendly, helpful and always smiling. The newly restored place around the corner is wonderful – so maybe another visit beckons!
Room Tip: This is your own little house in a quiet back street.
