“A wonderful location in a wonderful town”
We enjoyed our time here so much that we extended our stay. Francesca and the girls met us and showed us to our new home. It is a delightfully restored old cottage, in keeping with the historic ambience of this picturesque town. Francesca gave us a wonderful briefing to the town and the area which we drew on extensively for our stay. The winter sun streams in the upstairs bedroom and made for relaxing slow starts to our days to explore this wonderful region. There were only the two of us and we found the cottage just right for our stay. We were the first guests to stay in this old stone cottage which had been restored with a loving attention to detail. The location is great; on the edge of the old town so peaceful and quiet yet only a short walk to the beautiful main square. And importantly parking is available as we had a car for our day trips to all the World Heritage Baroque towns which are close by.

“A Dream Holiday”
C ‘era una Volta is an immaculate charming house in the beautiful town of Scicli. It is in a great location and has a lovely roof terrace with fabulous views. The owner Francesca speaks perfect English and is the most friendly and helpful host you could wish to meet. She arranged transfers to and from the airport for us and gave us local information. We really felt at home. The neighbours and people of Scicli are so friendly. It is a holiday we won’t forget. We highly recommend.
